This is how I fixed my 600fps in ut99 with my dualcore cpu.

Go into your unrealtournament.ini and find [OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice] then look for these two settings
RefreshRate and FrameRateLimit, here is what I set mine at,
RefreshRate=75 <--- same as my monitor setting
FrameRateLimit=150 or whatever fps you want to get.
Now once in a while it doesnt take hold right away but eventually it does with right driver setting for graphics card, took me a couple days trying last time lol. but at the least if it works like mine did it will make your game play at 60fps or whatever value you put in that spots. Hope this helps gl hf .

No, I'm not using it. But I do have Intel. The only problem I had with the dual core I have was a low fps (60). I went into my video card settings and changed my vertical sync off and now I get a steady 120 fps. I dont know if thats all that great or not, but its better than 60. Im not sure if it works with the intels or not, but I would think it would be worth a shot! Hope it helps bud and cool Toe, I'm glad you fixed your problem.

Pentium D 820

That is what I have. If you would like to look it up...be my guest, it is a dual core.

Review:

Today's PC user is always looking for something more, and the Pentium D820, with a combination of dual core speed and great value, offers just that. Whether editing videos, playing graphic-intensive games or running multiple background tasks simultaneously, this processor will spur your computer's performance to new heights. Featuring an 800MHz Front Side Bus, 2MB (1MB x 2) Level 2 cache, and an running at 2.80GHz, you'll juggle operations with ease.

This unexpectedly powerful chip represents Intel's attempt to get dual core computing to the masses, and what an attempt it is! An Intel dual core processor gives you greater value by providing additional resources to expand your PCs capabilities and provide platform-level improvements for consumers with parallel processing and enhanced multitasking. With an Intel Pentium D processor, you'll find yourself doing more things at once than you ever imagined.
