I haven't tried it yet, but I can guess it won't even tickle this PC.
I got UT installed, and while it runs, it runs either too fast or too slow! My guess is it's the dual core CPU (My last PC had the same issue), and I've tried everything to get it to run at an acceptable level. Though to no avail. I'll have to read up on it later on and see what I can do. |

I managed to get it to work, it turns out that Vista's Power Management was set to a low level. Now UT runs fine, and I must say, UT looks quite nice with 8x AA and 16x AF. |

Not that I will touch his comp, cause he'll assume i broke something after i've been on it. But My mother's boyfriend has My old Pirated GOTY UT on vista, and its buggy as hell, now he also has vista on a low end machine that really should be running XP. Can you describe you you got UT running nicely to me, so i can sugest things to him. _________________

I'm not sure, he probably has a setup that's completely different than mine (By the sounds of it). I have no issues whatsoever running UT on Vista, so my first assumption would be to update your drivers. But like I said, I wouldn't know how to fix it.
What I did was just turn off Power Management on Vista and everything was ok. Whether that will help or not I'm not sure. |
