and everyone wants to colonize the moon, we would need to get star wars lazers or star trek phasers to prevent more chunks of space rock slamming into the moon.
Great pics, love the last one _________________

Totally great pictures Viper. Amazing what you can do with the computers and gadgets these days. What brand and power of telescope are you using?

Thanks Viper. Do you attach your camera to the scope to take pics, or is it a cable connection from the scope to the camera.? And is the autostar a program that you add in the star you want and the scope moves to that location automatically? I have heard that if you use a large scope, you need a firm base, like concrete, to zoom in with. A base that won't pick up vibrations. Your pics are great.

This is what I have now gimp, its the camera that came with the telescope.
It goes in where you would normally put the eyepiece in the scope.

Thanks Viper,
I went to the web site and looked at all the video clips from the instruction disc. I was really impressed with the way the set up works with the scope, and the instructions were clear to understand. Fasinating hobby, you will have many hours of fun ahead for you.
Thanks again.
