I'm sorry about not staying it touch. I guess i've been kind of embarrased to show my face around. I mean not severely, but enough to hinder comming around. The reason is that I know a few times in the past when i let the lag get to me I announced that I was done with UT and said good-bye only to come back after a couple of weeks or a month. And, well here again it looked like i was finally moving on from UT, but I didn't want to say anything in case it was just a passing phaze or I just needed a break. It turns out, I've pretty much stayed away and gotten into other things. So now I've just bailed on everyone with no word or explanation and it's been more embarassing than if i'd said i was done with it all and turned around and came back.
Okay, I've finally addressed this, and will more than likely be around once in a while now. But I don't see myself ever getting into UT again enough to really be involved in the clan to any degree by which anyone could warrant keeping me as a captain. That status puts a person in the light of all that other captains who's current dedication and efforts should be recognised. That is obviousely not me for the last loooooong while.
In counting on C1 being the C1 i've always known, I'm going to assume i'm welcome to stay on a not-so-active member of this family and do so very happily.
Again, I'm sorry to have flaked out and dissapeared for so long. I look forward to seeing you all whenever I do.

Okay, so where have i been? Mostly camping, fishing, and hiking. Most other times if not at work i'm exhausted and taking it easy at home. When i do get on to do some gameing i play a little F.E.A.R. but pretty rare. Been playing my guitar, and a friend's drums so i'm buying myself a set here in the next coulple of weeks. If I was going electric i'd upload some tracks for you folks to lay some of your stuff on and it would be great to share with you that way, but I've decided on an acoustic (maple 5-pc ddrum) and I mic'ing an acoustic set for recording is an art in itself from what i've seen. i'm not ready to take that on right now, but when and if i do it'll sure be ON! =)

Having been someone with a slow internet due to the restrictions put on me because of what I did in my youth... I can understand that sometimes Lag does eat at one. So I understand whats going on. But you also have to look at what you've been doing, camping hiking ect... Those are infanintly better than sitting at a comp playing UT.

You have no need to be embarrassed though, games I've found for me work on a cycle of when i feel like playing them, and when I don't. So I'm constantly disappearing from various games every once in a while. And your right, c1 is kind and lets you stay in even if periods of inactivity happen.

And The Final point I want to make is that Unfortunately UT99 is a dieing community, we aren't really growing, any new people we get are put off by the Highly Skilled (Those who've played this game excessively for 6 years) and the rampant cheating. I myself have a hard time these days distinguishing who's skilled or cheating. But those arnt the only things, we're losing our community to gamers who only care about orgasming over Graphics.

It is so good to hear from you again, missed you buddy. I still remember the lesson you gave me about walking up the wall-LOL. Sounds like you are keeping busy with the good things in life, and that's what counts. Drums as well eh. My first set was an old one, a 28" base with an oil painted picture on the outside with a light bulb inside, and a set of skullheads-LOL. It was an old set. Love to hear your sound tracks too, and looking forward to seeing you play UT again. Take care Ch3z.
