A couple weeks ago i went on this epic Alpine climbing trip deep in the mountains, climbed the highest peak in the southern rockies (mount Joffre). Unfortunately i injured myself on the trip (strained my Quad) and at the point where i hurt myself i was 25km from the car so i had to walk that distance with crazy pain and had to carry a pack that was about 40 pounds..... im down and out for about another month but whatever it was worth it haha. heres some pics.

Nice Redwingz, you pushed yourself to the breaking point and broke. I'm no good after 14000 ft I get sick. Going thru that kinda pain and stress can be good for you, hope you heal-up quick. _________________

true, most people will never experience what the mountains have to offer either becuase of where they live or lack of desire to get out their and try it out. Ive done alot of crazy things but mountain climbing is by far the craziest and most amazing thing of all, theres just something about that feeling you get standing on a peak and taking in the incredible view. On that trip i definately found out why mountaineering is the ultimate endurance sport, wow was it tough but if you stick it out you definately get rewarded with some awesome stuff. _________________

Hey Redwingz,
Glad you are okay and on the mend. What a personal challenge to accomplish, and such great scenery to do it in. Take care.
